The Bull on the Green is a pub, restaurant and bed & breakfast in the heart of the sussex countryside offering great food, quality drinks and comfortable accommodation. To the rear of the pub is a secluded courtyard to sit out in on lovely summer evenings. In the winter log fires create an inviting atmosphere.
Situated right on the Green in the East Sussex village of Newick, you can enjoy a light snack or a celebration dinner in the restaurant or even make a weekend of it with our lovely Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The pub was the stopping place for Pilgrims in 1510 travelling between Winchester and Canterbury.
The Bull on the Green is situated in the centre of Newick village and is near the South Downs, 20 minutes from Brighton and 10 minutes from Lewes. It is also a short distance from Plumpton Racecourse and Glyndebourne Opera House.
THE LAMB
The Lamb is a country pub/bar with a fine restaurant in the village of Piltdown in East Sussex. The restaurant offers fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. All the food is freshly prepared on the premises, and cooked to the highest quality.
